DISC Certification Workshop Registration
- Item #: DISCERT
Research suggests that the most effective people are those that understand themselves, both strengths and challenges, so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their personal and work environments. The DISC behavioral talent and communication style model (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance) provides human resource and training professionals as well as leaders with the assessment tools and resources needed to improve personal insight, build strong work relationships, minimize communication barriers and fully leverage team talents to maximize results.
DISC measures how people respond to problems (D), people (I), pace/change (S) and compliance (C). There is no right or wrong behavioral style, but fully understanding the various styles empowers people to adapt as needed in their roles to improve performance. The 2-day workshop is highly interactive including personal assessment, application of feedback data, utilization of DISC resources and job aids, skill practice-based exercises, peer-based coaching and small group activities. An action learning approach ensures that DISC theory is put to work and DISC expertise is developed.
